All products should be made with accessibility in mind, and better yet, should be shipped with all potential users in mind, considering the impact on everyone it touches. Divergent user needs should not be treated differently, but rather, they should be addressed with deeper insight into rarer, yet no less important pain points that are seldom discussed or acknowledged in the product development lifecycle. The need for effective use of feedback in universal design also highlights the importance of representation and diversity in the team, including the contribution of people with disabilities. Team members who have experienced certain challenges are better prepared to draw and process meaningful feedback from users that relate to them.

To gather feedback for an accessible product, engage with a diverse group of users, including those with disabilities. Use surveys, interviews, and usability tests to gather insights. Incorporate feedback continuously and create an open feedback loop. Partner with accessibility experts and regularly refine your approach. Keep all communications respectful and inclusive.
