Setting priority of work in agile teams is a collaborative process between product teams (product, engineering, UX) and their stakeholders (business). Stakeholders, whether it is one or a cross-functional group, must come together to make the best data-drive decision. As someone who leads technology/engineering, I help facilitate and bring that gap. Product teams needs to be working to drive business outcomes, I always bring an opinion on my views backed by data.
