Hey, I’m Taylor Jennings, and I’ve crossed 5 countries off my list thanks to Chili Piper’s offsites… Not a bad perk, right? I’ve been at Chili Piper for over four years now. I joined as the first UX research hire, focused on supporting product and design. But like most things here, my role didn’t stay in one lane for long. Today, I am the Head of Research here, and I work across pricing, market research, churn analysis, go-to-market strategy, and even a bit of copywriting. I help shape our roadmap, define pricing, and tackle big, strategic questions that don’t always come with a playbook. At this point, I don’t just call myself a UX researcher, I’m a professional question answerer. More fun facts about me: 🍝 I’m seriously considering culinary school part-time. I miss the energy of a commercial kitchen. 📕 I love to read; my goal every year is at least 52 weeks and I'm on track to exceed it this year I’m currently building out a research panel to hear more directly from our users. 📊 I once led an in-house end-to-end pricing research initiative, an effort that replaced what could have been an $ 800,000 external engagement. That last one is still one of the projects I’m proudest of. I analyzed 500+ survey responses, pulled together insights, and helped us land on pricing that’s competitive, scalable, and rooted in actual customer data. It’s now part of how we approach pricing for new products, too. There’s never a dull moment here, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. Hi, I’m Maria Irie, Head of Brand Design at Chili Piper. My first project here? Rebrand the entire company. I had: Two months to go with a full brand transformation and a huge vision. We didn’t just make it happen; we were named finalists for Webflow’s Brand Transformation of the Year. (Thank you, Webflow!) Since then, I’ve designed billboards, sneakers, hot sauce, hand cream, necklaces, and even LEGOs as part of my job here. Right now, I’m working on something I’m very excited about, and I’ve been cleared to tease it: Our first-ever Chili Piper swag store is coming soon. Big shoutout to our friends at Reachdesk for helping us bring it to life. The best part of my role? I get to work with almost every team in the company. From product to marketing to people ops, every project brings something new, and a chance to make it unforgettable. A few fun facts about me: ➡️ I’m from Spain, my husband is from Japan, and we live in the UK with our two kids ➡️ We speak three languages at home (And yes, my son once put soy sauce on a Spanish omelette) ➡️ I studied journalism and used to work as a local TV news presenter.
