Farmers use many different technologies and work in fast-paced environments. Their tools need to work as a whole to deliver insights that support confident farm decisions. Combining drone application maps from Rantizo’s AcreConnect with other data layers in FieldView leads to better insights for farmers and better agronomic recommendations.
📣 Attention Climate customers 📣 Our nationwide network of drone operators can now send application maps directly to your FieldView account using AcreConnect. Take advantage of this new feature by requesting and pre-booking drone spraying services for the 2025 crop season. Start your request today at https://hubs.ly/Q03j0wbJ0.

The Academy of Science - St. Louis is featuring each of our 2025 Outstanding Scientists Award recipients! The Science Leadership Award recognizes a distinguished individual or organization that has played an important leadership role in the development of science and scientists in the St. Louis region. This year's Science Leadership Award recipients are Tom Eickhoff, PhD, Chief Science Officer at Climate, and MilliporeSigma. Dr. Tom Eickhoff has spent most of his professional career in St. Louis, working to commercialize products for farmers and developing scientists through his leadership roles at Monsanto, Bayer and The Climate LLC. Mentoring and agriculture are Eickhoff’s passions, and he flourishes in both roles in St. Louis. With a current focus on digital farming and a background in entomology, agronomy and product commercialization, Eickhoff uses his scientific knowledge and marketing skills to mentor early career scientists toward career paths that will allow them to contribute to the advancement of the industry. His influence extends across the St. Louis region and beyond through his mentees, who have assumed leadership and research positions at various companies and universities. Millipore Sigma’s St. Louis history began in 1945 with the establishment of the Sigma Chemical Company. MilliporeSigma is a world leader in supporting pharmaceutical development and manufacturing. MilliporeSigma remains a St. Louis anchor institution with a demonstrated commitment to the region. The company supports STEM education both nationally and locally through their Curiosity Cube, a mobile science lab designed to educate K12 students and provide information on STEM careers. In addition to the touring Curiosity Cube, MilliporeSigma maintains a Curiosity Cube at their St. Louis facility for regional students. Farmers are increasingly leveraging data analytics to enhance the efficiency and profitability of their operations. At Ag in Motion in Canada earlier this summer, we connected with our customers and uncovered the data management value FieldView offers growers. For farmers like Mark McNaughton, the system provides on-the-ground data monitoring and insights critical for daily decision-making. Thank you to our farmer panelists and Bayer moderator Troy Prosofsky for sharing their firsthand experiences about how farmers can make informed decisions that improve resource management and crop yields.
