Small steps, big changes. We believe therapy is an essential part of becoming the best versions of ourselves. Allowing people to access therapy affordably and on their own terms is key to encouraging those big changes. Let 2025 be the year we all take the small steps and the big steps to become our best selves. 💜

Quality therapy that’s covered by insurance.
About us
Our mission is to make therapy more accessible, affordable, and affirming—without compromise. We’re building a mental health system that centers real people, not red tape. That means empowering independent providers to build sustainable practices—while removing the administrative burdens that keep care out of reach. We take care of the logistics (insurance, billing, referrals) so therapists can focus on healing work. You deserve mental health care that sees you—fully. At Grow Therapy, we help people find therapists who reflect their lived experience, whether that means shared racial or cultural background, language, identity, or life stage. As an online therapy platform, we strive to make it easy to search for licensed therapists by specialty, availability, and insurance. Many clients pay around $21/session with insurance, and we’re in-network with major plans like Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Medicare, and Medicaid. If you're paying privately, many therapists offer flexible rates to meet you where you are. Grow is powered by people who care—deeply. We’re a mission-driven team of clinicians, engineers, designers, and advocates who believe that therapy can change lives, families, and communities. We work hard to build a supportive culture from the inside out, with values like balance, integrity, inclusion, and trust at our core. That includes generous PTO, wellness benefits, mental health moments, and a commitment to showing up for each other—our teammates, our providers and our clients. We're honored to be growing with support from mission-aligned partners—including leaders from Sequoia, SignalFire, Village Global, Airbnb, Nurx, PatientPing, and Blackstone—who share our belief: that everyone deserves access to quality mental healthcare. 💭 Quote of the day: “Sharing [my experiences] doesn’t make me any weaker. Actually, it makes me more real and human for my team and my colleagues.” — Inderpreet Dhillon, MD, MBA In a candid conversation with Newsweek's Alexis Kayser, Dr. Dhillon reflected on how prioritizing his own wellbeing has shaped his dual roles as a practicing psychiatrist and a healthcare leader driving systemic change. 💡 The takeaway: To build the kind of care we’d want for our loved ones, we must first care for our own mental and emotional health. At Grow Therapy that begins with leaders modeling a culture of empathy, authenticity, and support. See comments for link to interview.

I'm #hiring and so excited to (begin!) growing my team at Grow Therapy! I'm looking for a leader to build out our Employee Relations department -- raising the bar for performance while protecting and stewarding our culture grounded in trust, empathy, and values-driven leadership. You’ll be the founding team member to help shape a workplace where expectations are clear, feedback is actionable, and people are supported and empowered to grow. Think this could be you (or know someone?) -- reach out or apply below! https://lnkd.in/gsGFzSdQ

Should you build or buy an EHR? That is one of the most fundamental questions for any new care delivery business in digital health. So for the latest Second Opinion Media edition, I asked two operators Jake Cooper, CEO of Grow Therapy to tackle the “pro” build case and Gil Kazimirov to tackle the pro “buy.” Whether do you fall in this debate? What I loved about both essays was the level of detail they shared from the field, which will hopefully make this decision that little bit easier for founders. https://lnkd.in/ey_fRB_Q

At Grow, we're committed to getting clients the care they need, whether within our walls or beyond. Our Care Coordination team makes that possible. Grow's VP of Clinical Excellence, Cynthia Grant, PhD, LCSW recently spoke with Anastassia Gliadkovskaya from @fierce-healthcare about how we support people with complex mental health needs—getting them to the 𝗿𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗳𝗮𝘀𝘁—and the clinical impact of doing so including: 📉 𝟐𝟎% 𝗿𝗲𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 in inpatient hospital admissions 💰 𝟏𝟔% 𝘀𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀 in total medical costs ❤️ 𝟐𝘅 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲𝗹𝘆 to stay in recovery when outpatient care starts within 14 days of diagnosis Link to the article + Podnosis episode in the comments.

Kristin Ohnstad said it best “The insides matching the outsides is the whole point” 💫 Excellent results shouldn’t cost us our mental health. Having a huge goal, like making mental healthcare accessible and affordable, means we need to preserve our energy and emotional strength to perform at the top of our game, getting better each day. Thanks to Fortune and Sara Braun covering what sustainable, high-performance culture looks like! See link in comments.

We recently hosted our annual company offsite in Atlanta, GA! It was an incredible time for our largely remote team to connect, learn from each other, and celebrate everyone’s collective impact in making therapy more accessible. Our teams got together to focus on a critical north star: building for our loved ones. There were panels and sessions, featuring Grow providers and healthcare industry experts alongside our own leadership. We’re determined to expand access to mental healthcare through the platform we’ve built. The future of mental healthcare is exciting and we’re fortunate to be in a place where we can drive more positive change. Our team had an excellent time connecting with each other and aligning towards our mission. Together, we’re building for our loved ones and yours too. 💜
