This May, Kendo honored AAPI Heritage Month and Mental Health Awareness Month by partnering with small businesses to curate a month-long program. Together, we emphasized mental health awareness and celebrated the beauty and unique intersections of AAPI culture and well-being. Kendoites enjoyed a community lunch, a series of wellness offerings like chair yoga and a wellness workshop led by a local, AAPI-woman founded company. When it came to creating a one-of-a-kind experience to launch Fenty Beauty's newest Gloss Bomb—Grape Splash—Shopify was the perfect partner. Last weekend, our NYC fans joined us for an immersive pop-up at Shopify NY, where they got an up-close look at our Gloss Bombs and exclusive access to Grape Splash. Our favorite part? The giant Gloss Bomb stations where fans could try each shade, the pink-fur-covered FU$$Y room for capturing content, and the gemification bar for customizing their packaging. The pop-up sold out quickly, and it was clear our fans didn’t want to miss out. Together with Shopify, we listened and brought the experience online through the Shop app, which lets brands effortlessly connect with their customers. The exclusive sales window for Grape Splash through Shop has now closed, but customers can still take advantage of the in-app quiz to find their recommended shade -- an immersive element for those who couldn’t be at the pop-up. Building this across online and offline elements was seamless with Shopify’s technology, enabling us to create connected experiences at every touchpoint. #Shopify #FentyBeauty
