Auto-renewals for Premium subscriptions after free trial

Last updated: 1 month ago

When you sign up for a Premium subscription on LinkedIn's desktop site, you'll receive an email reminder sent to the primary email address on your LinkedIn account before your free trial ends and before your credit card is charged for the auto-renewal.

The card you used to sign up for a free trial for any LinkedIn Premium subscription will automatically be charged one month from the date you signed up.

You must cancel the trial at least one day prior to the auto-renewal billing date to avoid being charged after your free trial. You can see your Premium free trial auto-renewal date on your LinkedIn Admin Center page.

  • To avoid being automatically downgraded to a Basic (free) account, make sure to update outdated billing information within five days after your renewal date.

  • LinkedIn offers a free trial that allows members to explore Premium features at no cost. Trial eligibility and duration may vary based on regional availability or promotional terms. At the end of the trial period, unless canceled beforehand, the subscription will automatically convert to a paid plan and your card will be charged.

  • Billing, cancellation, or renewal dates for free trials and billing charges are based on the date and time that the subscription was activated, in local US time zones for US-based English-speaking members only. For all other countries or languages, this is in Universal Time Coordinated (UTC).
Note: If you purchased a subscription on your mobile device, you won’t receive an email reminder prior to the auto-renewal of your subscription. If you purchased using iOS, you’ll receive a notification on your device prior to auto-renewal.
