LinkedIn offers a streamlined application experience for many job listings through Easy Apply. This option lets you submit your application without leaving LinkedIn.com, making the process faster and more convenient.

When you apply directly on LinkedIn:

  • Your application is securely sent to the job poster.
  • Relevant skills from your profile may be included with your application to help highlight your qualifications.

What happens after you apply

  • If the job is posted by a recruiting agency, your application may be shared with other clients of that agency if your profile matches other roles.
  • LinkedIn may prompt you to save your application information—including your resume and answers—to reuse for future applications.
  • If enabled, LinkedIn can pre-fill answers and use your saved information to recommend jobs that align with your qualifications.

Managing your application data

You can review, update, or delete your saved application information at any time before submitting a new application. To manage your resumes and preferences, go to your Job applications settings page.
