Director who was founding the happier in Madrid and I still remember where I put the times when we were a very small group of five people starting in a in in a corner office because normally wherever you go in the world, they should be SF office, but here there wasn't one. And the great thing about Madrid is so whenever you come as a foreigner. The city welcomes you and that was a great feeling that we had on the stuff, so it was our small team with five. Which started and which was then calling recruit 250 equal to 100 and all, you know, the meetings that you might still have today, like the hub comma meeting, you know, we started back then in a small scale Nowadays for sure, it's, it's huge meetings and I can tell you it's still for me a very special time. I would even dare to say that it was the best time of my of my professional career and with that I wish the Hub a great six birthday. Hi, this is Alfonso Alvarez. I'm Product Manager on GD Auto Management and join BSF in 2019 and I'm one back then they had was just an idea. I still remember drilling holes in the walls for hanging whiteboards or managing and hiring week Monday through Friday, 8:00 in the morning to 8 in the evening. It was a great chance when we present our operating model to our CFO and CEO. So you see from hanging whiteboards in the walls. To present to our top management of the company. It has been an incredible journey. Madrid have started like a startup, but with the full support of BSF behind us. We are delivering value, we are driving innovation and still keeping alive the entrepreneurial spirit from the beginning. So thanks for being part of the journey. Hi, I'm Silvina, currently HB in the digital have Madrid and taking profit of the anniversary of the hub. I would like to share with you a fun fact actually. I was supporting the digital hub from BASF Espanola for more than one year. And when I was confirmed to join officially to BDS, it was the 13th of March 2020. And if you remember well, the day after Spain went in a total lockdown, so. I was very happy because I had the chance to join officially, but I was not able to come to the office for a whole year. During that time, we were at the early beginning of the project and we had to hire more than 100 employees virtually. Back then, it was not so common that probably nowadays after the pandemia, but we were able to manage the situation with the effort and commitment in the team and looking back, it is kind of amazing what we have been able to build up. And how we keep this spirit still nowadays? Hi, my name is Daniel Alcombe. I joined. Twenty twenty One I Momproye. I'm employee 100 and I I joined during the pandemic and as a fun fact, I traveled first to the ladies happen site and then come to the office. It felt really natural to come to the office and and meet the people and work together because the culture is very similar and I'm very open. Everyone is very is willingly to to help and and meet other new people. Hi, I'm Marina and I'm employee 600 since I joined. Have One of the things I enjoy the most is how easy it is to connect with people from different backgrounds now let's and cultures. I think it's such a great environment to connect with people, to share ideas and to learn from others in a very natural way. The atmosphere is super dynamic. We work with different stakeholders. We're always pushing to do our best in a way that keeps us aligned with our winning ways. And people are super open, supportive, always striving for excellence, which makes it a great place to work. Very inspiring and motivating. My colleagues, I have been based now since almost two years in Madrid and I'm really honestly proud to be part of this success story. What started small in 2019 really became a success. Meanwhile, when I came to Madrid, a big team was engaged with moving to our new office space and that was a pretty interesting time because we spend a lot of time together in order to prepare our new offices in order to. Build up all the workplaces to wire the device and everything around that O back then it really felt like. Building a new home together with a great team. Equally important is a growth rate we had in the past two years, right? I mean, we are now almost 800 employees. That means the growth of 45%. We here in Madrid are delivering value to the entire BSN. I'm tremendously proud of this and looking to the future, there is no doubt that this success story will continue. Six years ago, we started with a bold idea. We wanted to build a place where we connect digital innovation with Industrial Inc. Today we have created a brilliant ecosystem with brilliant minds, different perspectives and digital solutions that really make a difference in DSF. And I'm really proud of that because we had also to tackle many challenges. So we saw new faces basically every week. We had things that needed to be adopted. We had to introduce processes, to streamline processes. And all of this we have done with, but I think also defines us with curiosity, with collaboration, and last but not least, also with a sense of humor. So I'm really happy what we have built, I'm really proud of it and I'm especially looking forward how our journey will continue. Happy 6th anniversary. These anniversario Digital Hub Madrid.
