BASF Agricultural Solutions’ Post

What does it look like when a farmer fully embraces sustainability – across people, planet, and profit? 👏 Meet David Felce, winner of the 2025 Rawcliffe Bridge Award for Sustainability in the UK. From enhancing biodiversity, soil health to water catchment management and carbon assessments, David impressed the judges with a deeply integrated approach to sustainable farming.  Organized by BASF in partnership with The Andersons Centre, The Country Trust, and the Royal Entomological Society, the award celebrates practical, forward-thinking sustainability on farms across the UK and was handed over by Michael Heinz, Gustavo Palerosi Carneiro and Joel D. Johnson. “The award symbolizes the ongoing commitment of farmers and innovators, balancing productivity and sustainability, while addressing the challenges of climate change, volatile markets, and high societal expectations”, says Gustavo Palerosi Carneiro. Congratulations as well to the other award finalists Andrew Brown and Emma & Martin Hamer, who impressed with their implementation of resilient farming techniques.
